We know that Dhaka's king of the road are the rickshaws, so if you are planning on getting a souvenir, you may want to bring home a miniature Bangladesh rickshaw. You can buy these in markets and specialty shops along the stretch of Banani area.

Traffic jams are really stressful, it affects your schedule, mood and overall it ruins your day. In most cities, the streets are flooded either by cars or motorcycles but here in Dhaka Bangladesh, the major mode of transportation is a rickshaw, they are everywhere and they seem to block every corner of the city.

They are considered nuisance to some, but to the majority of people who doesn't have other transportation options they are critical in their everyday living i.e. for work, school, and running personal errands.

Stressful for some but for the rest it serves its basic purpose.
